14 Students knifed - wait for bans on semi-automatic knives

As a matter of fact.....several students interviewed at the scene indicated their desire to carry a weapon on school premises to stop just this very thing.

Wellll, if "several students indicated their desire", then we should certainly pass a law to issue all of them weapons... THAT would surely make things safer...in a school environment.

I heard that several adults would like to put the weapons-toting students on a Thorazine drip... I think we should pass a law to keep Thorazine in every classroom.

Of course the recently passed gun laws easily pass constitutional muster under the 2nd Amendment as set forth by the current Supreme Court decision in DC v. Heller.

The Second isn't being infringed... And no matter how much the NRA and it's members scream, it doesn't change what the Courts have already ruled.

No, I don't think the gun laws being proposed/recently passed are smart, but yes, I think we all need to accept that better enforcement, better laws, and better mental health care needs to be instituted - for anyone who is at risk to try something like this.

When was the last time there was a mass killing by a sane person? I can think of a few but they used fertilizer or box cutters and were far more deadly.
