The First Colorado Legal 4/20 This Saturday

Anyone planning on doing anything special? Famous stoners Cypress Hill will be having a concert at Red Rocks that day. Personally I am not planning to do anything but it will be interesting to see how the police handle this. Technically it will still be illegal to smoke it in public, but how hard are they going to enforce that? Will the Morrison police decide it is more profitable to bust post public smokers than speeders?

And easier... all they have to do is hand out a ticket to everyone at the exits as they leave. I'm not planning anything special. I "acquired" a very small amount pot right after the bill passed in November, just for the novelty of having my own legal "stash." It felt good to have it. I was a child of the 50's-60's, and I saw all the stuff that went down about it during those times... and I never thought I would see they day where it was in any way legal anyplace in the US.

I tried a bit... it had the same effect it had on me the two or three times I tried it when I was younger... two hits and I was zoning for 3-4 hours. Totally yucky feeling... at least for me. Was then, was now. I don't like to be mellow, I don't like anything that takes the edge off of me, makes me feel "out of touch."

So... I have a few bowls worth left... will hang on to it as a keepsake of these times. Other than that... not interested.

After chemo, I've continued to use it in place of Ambien... works better, cheaper, and I could care less if it's legal.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Morrison PD has no authority at Red Rocks. It's a Denver Mountain Park, patrolled by contract by JeffCo. Poor Morrison - they could surely use the fine money . . .

But once you pull out of the parking lot with a buzz on, the Morrison police can pull you over and try out their new THC test kits for DUI tickets.

Cypress Hill? I hope it snows. I will be at Evergreen's Earth Day Festival.
