Really off topic question. When did composing a sentence become so difficult? What does ... mean? If you are intelligent, phrase your question to your audience, or the audience you prefer.

in person (is the concept).......there are pauses, inflections when you are face to face with a person (JMO)......the
FLAT SCREEN with words floating across the surface does NOT allow for that. JMO.......

I'll have to agree with HomeAgain on this. I'm a playwright (no... not someone who claims to be, someone who is actually published and produced on stages) and I frequently post comments in this style (although I don't overuse carriage returns and acronyms as HomeAgain does). A playwright or a screenwriter will make use of ellipses and commas in an effort to portray the meter of dialog. And I find using that style to be a good way to emphasize conversation on a forum.

(P.S. HomeAgain... one word of advice... the proper form of an ellipse is 3 periods, not more, not less. And keep the carriage returns to a minimum. Use paragraphs or full sentences.)
