I may very well be reaching unless the media was to do it's job and give this story as much attention as Fluke wanting free birth control. But I'm pretty sure this story will get buried by most of the media and this poster-boy for immigrant welfare will only be remembered for the bombing and not by how the bombing was partially funded. Remember these guys had to rob a guy just to have some getaway money.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Who gets to decide when the constitution should be ignored and for whom? You Rick......the police.....the FBI....homeland Security? Talk about slippery slopes.

So Archer wants to give the guy on a terrorist watch list free housing too? Can he buy a gun legally to go with those fireworks?

No.... I don't, but feel free to mischaracterize my posts, it seems to be what you do best.

Do you even know Fred when he was, or if he was, put on a terrorist watch list?

2011? Or is that when the Russians warned us about him?

I don't know, that's why I asked you. I figured you would know since you stated he was on the terrorist watch list.

The CIA submitted the name of one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects for a terrorist watch list in fall 2011 after an inquiry about Tamerlan Tsarnaev from Russian authorities concerned about his possible ties to extremists, a U.S. intelligence official said Wednesday. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to discuss the case publicly.

CNN, Reuters disagree: Was Tamerlan ever on a terror watch list?
Update: Welfare ended in 2012

The suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings killed in a shootout with police received welfare benefits from the state up until last year, when he became ineligible based on family income. …

The state says both Tsarnaev and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, his brother and the other bombing suspect, received welfare benefits as children through their parents while the family lived in Massachusetts.

Neither was receiving benefits at the time of the bombing.

As to the "Watch List" question, there seems to be a disagreement, since there are several different "watch lists", and after the investigation was performed, AND NOTHING WAS FOUND, Tamerlan remained on one watch-list that the FBI knew about, but they never informed the CIA, apparently.

But of course, that was the administration's fault... Along with all of those hangnails...

Thanks for the info....now, do we know when he started receiving welfare? I wonder if the terrorist list is even cross referenced to welfare recipients....before, or after, they qualify....

I think it's all water under the bridge now in the big picture, but I'm happy to have welfare scrutinized because of this revelation (especially welfare for non-citizens).
