Unemployment Numbers Today 7.5%

And the U6 stays stubbornly high at 13.9%.

And because of Obamacare, many of the ones who are still working will see their hours cut.

:smackshead: And the working poor thinks Obama is on their side.

Will Barack be able to get unemployment under 7% by 2016?

I'll bet Obama is hoping for lots of early retirements to help the unemployment %... when Obamacare kicks in, that number will tick up imo.

I'm betting a lot will... the perfect storm will change the speed and quality of our health care forever. Glad I got cancer three years ago instead of three years from now (knocks on wood).

Nothing like a steady diet of sour grapes in the morning. Cant you guys ever say... Well thats good news before starting in on the deflections to your favorite fantasy bad news topic.

This is a trend in the right direction.... I find that encouraging. And, as the market climbs me baby boomers will be able to retire which will be good news for unemployment numbers and younger workers.

I agree it is a good trend that should have happened a couple years ago. The fact that unemployment has ticked down a couple tenths since Obama took office four years ago is definitely better than going up, but if you look at the coming disaster ahead, I don't think it's all that impressive. I may be wrong about Obamacare and will own up to it if I am, but i'm not going to start getting all excited about tiny improvements when our debt keeps risinng by a trillion a year with no sign of slowing down.

And contrary to your assumption, this is not based on "sour grapes". I could give two shits about giving credit or blame to either party... in the end, all I want is a prosperous future for my kids and it's my belief that that future is being spent by inept and power hungry politicians. I hope I'm wrong... I have nothing to personally gain by hoping for more shitty news (regardless what you believe).
