GOOGLE GLASS....EXPLORER PROGRAM

Shades of Geordi (Startrek style).......in the coming months/days you just MIGHT see a face wearing a futuristic eyewear "that puts
tiny, voice-controlled,Wi_FI enabled computer on your FACE." The "Explorer Program" will be testing Glass and the general public will
be able to wear it, fingers crossed, at the END OF THE YEAR. Per WSJ weekend edition.

THIS will bring "big brother is watching" to a whole NEW level, as "you will snap photos, just by saying "OK Glass, take a picture".
In other words, you'll be able to perform tasks everyone ELSE has to do with the grubby hands and smartphones...Per WSJ

You will be able to view emails, text messages, maps on a translucent screen hovering in the upper-right corner of your peripheral
vision. Breaking news will virtually appear right before your eyes. :faint:

IF you thought society was self centered and out of touch with nature.......THIS trumps all things....JMO

SNL had a great skit about it this weekend on Weekend Update. I laughed and laughed as the guy with the glasses was trying to get them to work.

Sounds like we're well on our way to Wall-E's world...

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
