Anyone posting different now that even less is private?

Now that you know that some of the stuff you used to think was private is not and is being recorded forever by not just companies (as it was a few weeks ago), but also by govt agents...

Are you posting any different? less extreme, more extreme, less expression, more expression, etc.

Has it changed the content of your calls, your emails, the way you deposit money?

Is there any effect on the way your live your life.

They are talking like news sources are not giving up info anymore because they know it is not private.

Are you ok with the potential of divorce lawyers filing to try and get access to data they know is there? Is the govt liable if the data they know they have is not released for other noble, for the benefit of everyone, kind of tasks?

Will you be any more upset if (when) you find out there are drones in your bedroom while you are having relationship with your significant other? Will that be just as ok as someone being able to read or listen to all your communications with your wife that are not done in person. This one kinda bugged me, knowing how many times I had what I thought were private communications (like talking on the phone) that we know know were bugged, even if not listened to yet)? This is the one I mentioned to my rep.

Just curious.

Not I.
I figure I was already on lists.

I'm surprised anyone thinks that what they put online was, or is now, private.

I'm not worried about it... for a matter of fact... see my REAL name, my REAL picture and a link to my REAL playwright website.

Since I use social media minimally.....(NO facebook, twitter, mylife,no texting) I have NOT altered my communication mode....NEVER
believed privacy was present.....ALWAYS believed that being electronically "connected" was detrimental to developing TRUE relationships.

Only an idiot would have ever thought that anything posted in any way on the internet was ever 'private'.

True but until now only a paranoid would have thought that the NSA was compiling it all.

I've had three relationships over the internet... never even met the woman face to face. I even got one pregnant.

I don't agree. I have a few good friends across the country that I only see once every few years but I communicate with through social media that I feel closer to than everyday people in my life.

:rofllol Damn you're good!

I've always posted with the thought that if I want it kept private, don't post it (there will be no pics of me in a bikini going up anywhere, :) sorry) and otherwise I don't worry about it because I don't break the law. That being said, I am wholly opposed to data collection and spying on Americans without search warrants or good reason demonstrated. I don't doubt that if someone were to lead a productive movement against the government doing things like this that they'd be persecuted, possibly even false charges made up and fake data planted just to get them out of the way (the smear campaigns against Snowden being a perfect example). Such is the way of those corrupted in power.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
