The Racist Paula Deen?

Actually the way I heard it was Paula Deen only came out about her Type II diabetes after scoring a contract with a diabetes medicine maker.

I don't think keeping ones health problems out of the public eye is some sort of charactor flaw. Celebrities should be allowed to keep some parts of their lives private witthout scrutiny. There are cooking shows that have a theme of "healthy cooking"... this is not one of those shows. Her show wouldn't last very long if she said "now add two sticks of butter to the potatoes... and btw, this will really get that cholesteral level up and help you to get diabetes!" The fact is that you CAN eat crappy food and not get diabetes... especially if you do other healthy things to counter the bad food like working out. She's a heavy old lady who probably never excersises. Some people are also more prone to diabetes due to genetics.

Now maybe Bloomberg can start a nationwide campaign to force food shows to disclose calorie counts on every dish they make, then force the chefs to disclose every health problem they have that might relate to what they cook and eat.

Well, Weiner is now leading the NYC mayoral polls so it looks like people are willing to forgive and forget, so there is hope for Paula.

ticked that I and the ENTIRE nation are paying thru the nose for the UNhealthy habits of others.....hi blood pressure, cholesterol,
diabetes,OBESITY have created a point of NO return in the paradigm.....THAT is the MACRO view......NOW, let's discuss the
"southern style" soiree that she ADMITTED to on May 17th of this year.......she stated that she thought it would be great to
use some BLACK gentlemen servants (all dressed up in their finest.....just like what the south "use to be".......DO THE RESEARCH

you even begin to imagine what it is like in 2013......THERE IS A PROBLEM and Paula NOW has the problem......only this time it
is NOT just her health......it will be interesting to see how this continues to play out....I was NOT impressed with her "apology" JMO

Pretty much everyone in America understands that you can't eat like that everyday. One of Paula Deen's coworkers Giada Laurentis cooks up high calorie food and is very thin. Isn't she a worse example, see, I eat like this and can still look this good.
