Per KOA this morning, would you support increasing the amount of Colorado state senators so that every county would get representation like in the statehouse?
I would. I think this would give rural counties like Park much more power in the legislature.

No, I wouldn't. The Senate and the House are two different bodies. The House is supposed to be focused on the effects any legislation will have on their home districts. Senators are supposed to be more focused on a statewide and national view of the legislation.
If the Senate was doing what it should be doing it wouldn't matter where a senator is from. We should focus more on making the Senate do a proper job than on changing it into another House of Representatives.

I like the idea of being able to go to your Park County senator so he knows what local issues matter. And it is also good to have the same districts year after year instead of moving around like they do right now. Plus the many low population rural counties would have more power in the statehouse. So it would be harder for the urban majority to force legislation down our throat.
And feeling like the concerns of rural residents aren't being addressed is inspiring northen Colorado to look at secession.
