Zimmerman - what will happen next?

Now that Zimmerman has been found not guilty on all and any charges, what will come next? Any projections, opinions... inside scoop? Is this where it ends or is there more to come?

From what I understand, the CIVIL RIGHTS case was already filed last year, it was SUSPENDED
until after the trial per the law,NOW that the evidence in the case can be turned over to the
DOJ, they will RESUME their investigation into CIVIL RIGHTS violation.....so the process HAS
ALREADY begun, it was just SUSPENDED until the trial was over and evidence could be handed
over.....as I understand it.

Well as long as networks like MSNBC continue to keep the outrage going, this will drag on for a long time. I primarily watched this network for the last few days just to test my theory of what their reactions would be and I was right... my favorite was Alex Witt proclaiming that he was suffering from "white shame" (white guilt must have been taken by someone else). The general theme seems to be (and these exact words were used) "open season on young black men"... but when they were talking about this they didn't mention what race primarily hunted these young black men. They talked about how young blacks would NOW be afraid of being shot for no reason by other Zimmermans and there is nowhere to be safe anymore... lots of hyperbole, straw men, and imagined atrocities.

I have no idea how bad it wil get, but I'm sure Zimmerman will the left's new Bin Laden and Trayvon will be the new young MLK. In the big picture, it looks like racial division will be pushed wider by those who's ratings and relevance were already on the ropes.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

From what I understand... the FBI revealed the following...

After interviewing nearly three dozen people in the George Zimmerman murder case, the FBI found no evidence that racial bias was a motivating factor in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, records released Thursday show.

Even the lead detective in the case, Sanford Det. Chris Serino, told agents that he thought Zimmerman profiled Trayvon because of his attire and the circumstances — but not his race.

Serino saw Zimmerman as “having little hero complex, but not as a racist.”

It's going to be rather hard to file a civil rights case after this FBI investigation and it's conclusion.

This just in Spanky...

"It has been over 36 hours since the verdict in the Zimmerman trial and we can't find a single black man killed by vigilante whites. But we at the Main Stream Media are hoping this will change so our commentators won't look like out of control raging lefties."

Just to be clear, like Fox, I don't consider MSNBC to be part of the MSM. I would hope the MSM would move on from this quickly but who knows.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Does anyone have a pulse on how the Hispanic community views this?

Why would the Hispanic community be interested in this? He's a White-Hispanic. That's all we need to be able to call him a cracker.

Because before he was a White-Hispanic he was a Hispanic and a crusader.

"In late 2010, a homeless African American man, Sherman Ware, was knocked unconscious for no reason whatsoever by the son of a Sanford City police officer, George was upset that the son was not arrested and that no one seemed to care about the homeless man. George produced and distributed a notice of what had happened and rallied support for the homeless gentleman. George put this notice on vehicles and passed it out at churches as services ended. Eventually, largely due to George’s efforts, the police officer’s son was charged with the assault."

That little anecdote has nothing to do with the trial. It was the white half that was charged with 2nd degree murder. :sarcasm:
