So-o-o, you do NOT think the viciousness portrayed was authentic? Here's what I think....
(having never been in the military) IF you show an ounce of weakness or a moment of hesitation
you WILL get nailed.....and IF you are a female your EVERY move will be scrutinized for that
weakness......I think ANY superior would test the female candidate BEYOND what a male would
be tested....JMO

Homeagain, a woman that steps into ANY predominately male profession will BE met with opposition and prejudice. The FACT that Blazer Bob posted those pictures shows THE respect he has for women. NONE. Which is SAD since he is a retired veteran OF war. Many women were involved IN his career. Too bad he does not recognize THE fact.

I CAPITALIZED stuff to make you feel COMfortable.

That is a cute post. Are you cute? :droolpuddle:

It appears you are trying to get my goat. It takes an expert goat getter to get my goat. My goat can be got but you got to get better at goat getting.

AND I read your post as if I were speaking to you face to face....(your consideration of my comfort level is commendable).......I ABHOR the flat screen and the LACK of inflection.....THAT
is the reason for my caps.....of course, JMO.

As for Blazer Bob...I have worked in corp. america for MANY years......seen his kind all too often.
I TRY to let it roll off my back.....(he's not my supervisor so it's REALLY pretty easy.)

Really? You dont care what those protecting you are wearing? First imagine your daughter's face imposed on this picture

Still don't care? I do care, this is not a Stephen King, or other fictional setting. War is not Art. However there is the Art of War. If women are choosing to go into combat, and allowed to do so, they may well face what Otis has described. They also will most likely face the chauvinism, sexist, and disrespectful attitude from those like Blazer Bob. His TSAC sig line is amusing.

Bang away

If my daughter is that secure that she chooses to dress that way and is completely confident in her abilities, then I have no problem with it at all. No, this isn't fiction, nor am I in any way condoning sexist attitudes toward women - their abilities should never be judged on their looks, but on their actions. I don't see Blazer Bob's post as judging a woman's ability, only saying that he'd prefer a half-naked woman laying on top of him who's protecting him. In all my conversations with him, I've never gotten the impression from him that he's sexist and doesn't think women can serve capably. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just what I've discovered about him so far.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

How did I miss this thread? Carry on... lol

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
