Brave Woman with a Gun was created by Rick

RIVERVIEW, Fla. - A Florida man accused of attacking his girlfriend with a metal object is dead after a woman who heard the attack shot and killed him in an apparent act of self-defense as he turned and attacked her.

Well he did only have a metal object... so did the woman use excessive force? She should have taken government advice and hidden with a pair of sissors... yeah, that's the ticket.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I don't think so

And as much as you guys like to act like they are- Guns are not the greatest things on earth.

And Walter....you don't have anything to be afraid up here in the exclusive foothills outside of Denver..So just stop fantasizing about shooting a home invader or coming to the rescue of a damsel in distress with your gun...

You are wrong VL, guns and access to them is what gave rise to our republic, the best form of government ever conceived by man in the history of civilization. Name me one invention that is more responsible for your individual freedom and liberty than the gun is. Just one will do.

I know that we won our independence with guns, but that was 200 years ago...We'd need nuculear weapons to go up against a tyranical government now..And thats why guns are in the constitution, to go up against a tyranical government- they aren't in there so you can kill someone thats getting the better of you in a fight.

And If we took care of our mentally ill, they wouldn't go on shooting rampages

PS, you're nuts if you think all the stockpiled guns held by U.S. citizens would help prevent another country from taking over the U.S. You've been watching Red Dawn too many times. VL hit it right on nose: you'd need an arsenal you don't have access to.

You want to play with guns and really defend the country? Join the Army or National Guard.
