This is why we can't get anything done. The conservatives don't want us to move forward; they prefer inaction or regression. They consider helping aiding and abetting the enemy, even if it means the country suffers.

The Senate is controlled by the Dems, remember? You think they should be able to find a couple RINO's like McCain or Olympia Snowe if the pick was a decent one, right?

Yeah, right. I"m sure it's just a coincidence that he's had more nominees filibustered than all the other presidents combined -- even Republican nominees. Check.

Once again, this is not a Senate controlled by Republicans.
When other Dem Presidents were nominating people for office to Republican Senates, you think they might have chosen more reasonable choices.
