Syria positive about giving up chemical weapons

http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/new ... sia-Syria/

"Syria welcomes the Russian proposal out of concern for the lives of the Syrian people, the security of our country and because it believes in the wisdom of the Russian leadership that seeks to avert American aggression against our people," al-Moallem said during a visit to Moscow, where he held talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.

And the article goes on to say...

"Moallem's statement came a few hours after U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Assad could resolve the crisis surrounding the alleged use of chemical weapons by his forces by surrendering control of "every single bit" of his arsenal to the international community by the end of the week."

*Emphasis added by IB.

Wow. Talk about a bunch of bumbling idiots running the WH. How embarrassing, cringeworthy, shameful, mortifying, ignominious, awkward and downright humiliating.

Backing away from the edge?
I think this is a real positive move forward.

Was reading some speculation that Assad didn't know chemicals were being used by his troops or that Putin forced Assad to use chemical weapons because he wanted to force BHO to put up or shut up with his "Red Line" talk.

I agree. As the Judge stated in her latest bHo smack down, one must have credibility to lose it. The world knows we have joker in the WH. And that includes the former KGB Agent now running the show in Russia.

Is there any doubt Putin and the rest of the world is getting great joy out of mocking what was at one time, the greatest nation on earth? And why wouldn't he. Look what guilt-ridden Americans voted into office, not once, but twice. Cringeworthy for sure.

Top 10 reasons why bHo gets no respect...

10) Putin looks Saudi King in the eye:

WTH?

9) Putin drinks his beer like a man:

bHo...curls pinkie...sissy style:

8) Putin...one of the boys.

bHo...

7) Putin...plays with loaded rifles

bHo...plays with water guns

6) Putin controls his dog without a leash

5) Book about Putin...

4) Badass magazine cover...

Rainbow Pony cover...

3) Putin...sits like a man...

bHo...yeah...not so much.

2) Putin rides horses...

and the #1 reason bHo gets no respect:

1) Putin sings his national anthem...

Barack Hussein Obama...doesn't give a damn.

I can see why the surrender of "all" of Syria's chemical and biological agents would be a win for Assad, plausible denyability; "yes we surrendered all of the chemical and biological weapons that we were aware of, that last attack was conducted by the rebels." If the meanwhile who knows what the Syrian's actually have stock piled or on deck for quick transshipment from other nations friendly to Syria. Not sure Syria has the capability to domestically produce chemical and biological agents but I'm confident that Assad could easily gain some assistance from Iran, especially if it give the Iranian regime to take a pot shot at the US without their actions being directly attributable to Iran.

Here it is 24 months after the war broke out in Syria and Barry is just now getting around to addressing the situation in a meaningful way. Drawing imaginary red lines and being diplomatic got us where we are now, Barry asks the UN, the Brits, and the Frogs to help out and they left him hanging. Here at home more people reject the idea that a "limited military strike" on Syria is going to accomplish anything positive and some understand that many of the rebels are attached to Al Qaeda.

Stay tuned sports fans, there's going to be a lot of tap dancing and deflection tomorrow when Barry takes center stage and either attempts to talk the American people into supporting a strike on Syria or explaining why now is suddenly not the time to strike. I predict we're going to see some form of Swiftboat Johny's "I was for it before I was against it" speach. BTW, isn't ironic how old Swiftboat Johny has come full circle? Make up you mind man - war is good or war is bad it can't be both but it can be conducted justly and decisively as long as the cause is just and the commitment is complete. Know what you are fighting for, commit to it, and fight win or accept you fate for being passive and letting the rest of the world run over you.l

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

When Kerry uses phrases like "every little bit" to describe Assad's chemical weapons stash, is it any surprise he refuses to heed anything that joker has to say?

And what about his "unbelievably small" terminology? Is he talking about war or his man parts?

Like Dennis Miller said...this is the only administration to send out "Save the Date" memos.

How opprobrious!

I hope your predictions are right Otis. I'd be very happy to watch bHo dance like a little girl even if it means he backs off his "red line" threats.
