With all due respect archer....who on earth on the right has shown support for Putin? Example please.

Hold your horses, woman!

Can you admire some qualities of a person even if you don't like what he actually does? I can respect the way Bill Clinton was a consumate politician with the ability to get compromise legislation through a Republican Congress even if I don't like what he got passed.

I can respect Putin's amazing political abilities even if I dislike his tactics and results.
He is like a well seasoned boxer who knows who to react to changing conditions, and Obama looks befuddled and ill at ease on the international stage. Like a bad movie about a Chicago community organizer with no training or ability who becomes President by accident and frankly doesn't know what to do.

You won't get his amazing political abilities without his tactics and results....he rules with fear and intimidation.....like I said, much like some Republicans try to do here......fortunately we don't let them get away with it.

Vladamir Putin totally outplayed both Kerry and Obama this week without using fear and intimidation. Putin is like a street-smart fox. And Obama is like a ivory tower professor with little real world experience.

Which Republicans here are using fear and intimidation tactics? I must have been gone longer than I thought.

As for Putin, I like the way he stands up to all leaders and doesn't bow or appoligize to anyone... but that doesn't mean I like him or his policies. And yeah Bush creeped me out with the hand holding / ass kissing at times too.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Putin is a bully, I'm surprised so many admire him...... But perhaps bullying is such a problem among our children because so many adults seem to approve of that type of behavior calling it strong, or manly. ... if intimidation of Russian citizens, putting anyone who disagrees with you in jail, supporting blatantly tyrannical dictators are traits to be admired, then I think you have no idea what a real leader is and are in no position to judge Obama.

You keep putting words in the mouths of others... haven't seen anyone say they admire him. I like ONE aspect of his leadership style... standing up for his country and not kissing ass. Doesn't mean I like him, his country, or his policies.

I also like George Clooney and Tim Robbins as actors but don't agree with their politics.

The official story about the Environmental Protection Agency fraudster who pretended to work for the CIA has collapsed. It turns out that EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy not only didn't uncover John Beale's crimes. She helped him collect extra taxpayer money and appears to have ignored critical evidence of his fraud more than two years before he left the agency. Meanwhile, in another EPA case, the government has threatened an employee with prison time for alleged management errors that appear far less serious than those of Ms. McCarthy.

Faux spy John Beale bilked taxpayers out of almost $900,000 as he pretended for years to be a CIA agent frequently away on secret missions. In reality, taxpayers were funding travel and time off from his job at the EPA. And for years managers including Ms. McCarthy allowed him to get paid as if he was working full-time at the EPA.

EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy Associated Press

In January 2011 Ms. McCarthy ignored a staff recommendation to cancel Beale's annual retention bonus. Then in 2012, after staff informed her that he was still on the payroll after he claimed to have retired, she waited seven months before referring the matter to the EPA's general counsel. Yet Democrats like Senator Barbara Boxer (D., Calif.) have praised Ms. McCarthy for her handling of the Beale disaster.

Now look at how the feds are treating another EPA manager accused of failing to appropriately document an employee work schedule. Mark Townsend is a career scientist in the EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics."...
