How about a year's worth of moisture in one week?
In the book 1491, about America before Columbus arrived, the author suggested that the Native Americans would manage the forests by burning them every few years. The healthy trees would survive, the vegetation and undergrowth would be cleared out creating parklands for the wildlife.
Instead of leaving millions of acres of tinder dry fuel.
