"Violence down in Ringwood school district, but number of victims and offenders is up

Incidents of violence between students in the district decreased nearly 50 percent over the past two school years, according to a report read by Superintendent Hugh Beattie at the Aug. 19 BOE meeting. By the numbers, however, there were more student victims and student offenders during 2012-13 than during the previous school year.
