Obamacare Will Increase Health Spending By $7,450 For A Typical Family of Four

"This candidate solemnly pledged on June 5, 2008: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year….. We’ll do it by the end of my first term as President of the United States.” Unfortunately, the experts working for Medicare’s actuary have (yet again[1]) reported that in its first 10 years, Obamacare will boost health spending by “roughly $621 billion” above the amounts Americans would have spent without this misguided law.

" In truth, no well-informed American ever should have believed this absurd promise."

Well...I guess we have to make exceptions for those lo-fo voters (including a few RINOs) who still think this dreadful, awful, terrible, shocking, appalling, horrifying, horrific, horrendous, horrid, hideous, grisly, ghastly, gruesome law is still a good idea.

Read it and weep folks, read it and weep.

Obamacare is Killing Us

"While the market was surprised last week when the Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee decided to keep monetary stimulus going (also known as quantitative easing), it’s becoming clear that Obamacare is one of the driving forces behind the decision.

As Dudley has pointed out, the labor market isn’t as robust as the underlying numbers would suggest.

And the labor market is being adversely affected by Obamacare."

Adversely affecte? Pelosi knows better. Follow your passion.

During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Candy Crowley read Pelosi part of a letter signed by union goon James Hoffa Jr. that described Obamacare’s impact on employers as a way to “destroy the foundation of the 40-hour work week.”

nancypelosi“That’s pretty tough from a loyal Democratic constituency,” said Crowley, sometimes considered a pretty loyal Democratic constituency herself.

Pelosi was unfazed.

Some parts of Obamacare need to be clarified, she acknowledged, but losing that 40-hour work week will really free Americans to “pursue your happiness … follow your passion.”

“Obverwhelmingly, for the American people, this is a liberation,” the San Francisco millionaire said dreamily, possibly confusing “the American people” who have to make a living with her fellow guests at George Soros’s wedding Saturday in New York.

MORON ALERT!!! :bash

And in other news...

"House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers' jobs. "I don't think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do," Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. "I think it's necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded."

One man's ObamaCare nightmare

By Jim Angle
Published September 23, 2013

Andy and Amy Mangione of Louisville, Ky. and their two boys are just the kind of people who should be helped by ObamaCare. But they recently got a nasty surprise in the mail.

"When I saw the letter when I came home from work," Andy said, describing the large red wording on the envelope from his insurance carrier, "(it said) 'your action required, benefit changes, act now.' Of course I opened it immediately."

It had stunning news. Insurance for the Mangiones and their two boys, which they bought on the individual market, was going to almost triple in 2014 --- from $333 a month to $965.

The insurance carrier made it clear the increase was in order to be compliant with the new health care law.

Let's stand down and let the people enjoy what they voted for, they deserve nothing less. When they complain let's point out that they wanted what they got.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Yeah Otis I agree. I have read a few of the Obamacare arguments here and thought to myself..."Self, don't say a word. The lo-fo voters will find out soon enough, soon enough."

They may complain to their fellow progressives but not to anyone else. You will never hear them admit the ACA is a turd no matter how much it stinks... that would be conceding to the fact that it was built by fools.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
