Careful. Don't use the word limp when Dougy is around. It makes him feel inadequate.

I think the respectful part should be pretty easy. We all know when we are pushing the line. Don't we? There might be some slop there because I am not here 24/7 and the more time late I arrive the less particular I might be, especially if the sun is shining.

Well, the warm has come and gone and I am in arrears in my rent.

For me the main value this board adds to the internet is its local nature. For example the vid of the IMHS BOD revolution. Much better than talking to someone who knows someone who said they were there and....

A huge BZ to SC for all the time and hard work that makes this place happen.

For political left/right discussions there are many better boards. I believe that the population of posters here is just too small to engender many interesting debates. Not to say it does not happen here just that the S/N (signal to noise) ratio is low. For me the fact that I know personally many of the posters here makes that worth while.


I did enjoy being able to post without being firebombed with bile, hate, deflections, distractions, straw men etc. However even with a relatively quite place such as this it took a surprising amount of time and effort. My respect for mods has increased exponentially.
