Youre right, the middle class is going away, our slice of the pie has shrunk dramatically over the last 40 years...Now who's fault is that, the party that represents the rich and the corporations, or the party of the people?

There is no "party of the people". Both major parties are bought and paid for, often by the same entities. You keep forgetting that it is no longer the 1950s, we now compete in a global economy. Our labor forces and manufacturing compete with workers who are happy to make $100 a month. Your unions are dead or dying.
Wrong...We always had higher wages than the rest of the world, even in the 1950's- The difference is import taxes, the US used to pay all its bills from import taxes. And we see straight line party votes everyday..Republicans voting for the utlra rich people, banks, insurance companies and corporations and Democrats voting for the people..Every day Grady
