..." Yesterday Britain’s environmental minister blurted out what is surely on the minds of many Brits: modest warming would be beneficial to Britain:
Owen Paterson, Britain’s secretary of state for environment, food and rural affairs, says effects of global warming could be beneficial. The cabinet minister responsible for fighting the effects of climate change claimed there would be advantages to an increase in temperature predicted by the United Nations including fewer people dying of cold in winter and the growth of certain crops further north. Paterson has long been suspected of being a climate change sceptic. He has previously called for a reduction in the subsidies given to wind farms and other green energy initiatives.
“People get very emotional about this subject and I think we should just accept that the climate has been changing for centuries."...
..."we’d begin to see media stories start slowly to change their line on climate change, from “Not So Serious After All” to “Benefits of Global Warming,” and eventually to “Never Mind.” (When was the last time you saw a major media story about acid rain? It was ranked the Number One environmental problem in the late 1970s, and got commensurate media coverage.)
We’re starting to see Phase Two (“Benefits”), beginning with the indefatigable Matt Ridley on the cover of the latest Spectator:
Climate change has done more good than harm so far and is likely to continue doing so for most of this century."...
Algore and the entirety of Green freaks every where wish a pox upon you! How dare you post any information indicating that "Climate Change" could be beneficial to "human-beans" and the planet! Honestly, how can you expect to be taken seriously when you contradict Climate Change authorities as powerful and credible as Algore?!
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
