Going to Work Tomorrow?

All Federal employees have been directed to do so so they can help with a gradual shutdown of the Federal Gumbment:

Lawmakers missed the deadline after being unable to resolve their stand-off over ObamaCare, despite a volley of 11th-hour counterproposals from the House. Each time, Senate Democrats refused to consider any changes to ObamaCare as part of the budget bill.

IMHO, now is as good a time as any to grab the collective "we" around the neck and shoulders, shake them vigorously, and attempt to restore everyone to the reality that is today and the train wreck that is Obarrycare. Maybe a few weeks of Gubment closure, a few weeks of welfare checks not being printed and mailed out, and a few weeks of other services being closed will bring the sheep around to the mess they voted into place. Or maybe not, let the people have what they voted for, they deserve every last bit of this mess.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Fire them all. If anyone else in the private sector was this bad at doing their job they would be fired. Why should these clowns be any different?

Yup... and 2016, 18, 20... until thier all these career assholes are gone. Sadly that's an impossible dream give the public brain damage at the voting booth. Congress has a 10% approval rating for a decade and these morons keep getting voted back. Hopelss.

Don't see it as hopeless Rick.

I can see the positive in all of this. Delighted that there is only a 10% approval rating.

If I have learned anything it is that the people won't do anything until they are made very uncomfortable.

Now lets see them boot out both sides and bring in those who represent their constituency.

Here's to a long uncomfortable ride.

The problem you are missing is that one party is doing everything possible to keep a massive voter base as comfortable as possible with promises of a safety net in every part of our lives... paid for by our future generations.

This country did'nt become so great and strong because of a central government with all the answers, it was because of the hard work of the citizens who were able (and encouraged) to take care of themselves. We are trending to dependency hopelessness.

(sorry, still feels like Monday)

No you are the stupid one. To believe that these lifer politicians haven't mastered the art of the payoff after all these years your're a bigger fool than I thought. I'd like to see these people replaced BEFORE they become whores... yes, new people can be corrupted by money and power, but not nearly at the level of those who have perfected the art over decades.

So you don't believe these lifer politicians develop stronger relationships with lobbiests the longer they are in office? Very naive indeed.
