Good, they made their objection to Obamacare crystal clear... so maybe even the sheep will remember come the 2014 election when they've already been shafted by the ACA. I have a feeling though that more and more Dems will be squealing like stuck pigs to delay the disaster for everyoone until after the next election.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Oh, and the next time the knuckle-draggers want to complain about a few $million for food stamps for the hungry, or milk/formula for the WIC program, or a few hot meals-on-wheels for seniors, I'm going to remind you of this:
Government Shutdown Cost $24 Billion, Standard & Poor's Says
You just p*ssed away $24 BILLION so Boehner could keep his speakership... (It obviously doesn't have anything to do with LEADERSHIP, since we know he couldn't lead a parade of Reese's Pieces out of a Hershey sack)...
And destroyed the GOTP while he was at it... Let me leave you with another number: 74%

So a total collapse of the Republican party would mean that the Dems should easily take the house in 2014 right? Care to stick your neck out with a prediction since you're so sure it's collapsed?

Because of how districts are drawn now I wouldn't want to bet on Democrats taking back the house any time soon, what I do expect to see are more moderate Republicans challenge Tea Party Republicans and win.
And Mitch McConnel got a nice 2 billion dollar pork project for his state. Not only didn't the GOP cut spending but spending increased. And Archer is on the talking point of gerrymandering. How do you think districts are made up? If a party has a supermajority they are made by that party but in places like Colorado the courts usually liberal get to decide. So the blame also lies with Democrats and state supreme court justices.

This was totally predictable since the Republicans had no chance from the beginning. What a waste of time and money!
They had their many chances to fight Obamacare before, but failed. So why shut down the government for a symbolic one year delay on the individual mandate? And they couldn't even stick to that demand.
So next they concentrate on the fictional claim that Congress and staffers get some "special subsidy" for their health insurance. No, this "special subsidy" is just your employer contributing to your health insurance cost. This is no different than what other government or private company employees get from their employer, if health insurance coverage is offered. What good is health insurance coverage from your employer, if they don't contribute anything towards the cost?
And what did the Republicans win? Minor stuff, and we get to delay this same BS until next Feb 15th (I think). And we've already learned from the sequester that such a delay won't work and we'll go through all this same crap again.
If Republicans are so convinced that Obamacare will fail, prove it by just letting it fail. Don't screw up our government obligations too. And I'm no Obamacare fan...
And now it looks like Boehner's Ohio got billions of dollars too. Once again, the Republicans were supposed to be reducing the debt but wind up expanding it after taking Democrat bribes.
