How the pundit class turned on ObamaCare

"Now that the president has lost the “Morning Joe” crowd, ObamaCare may be in even deeper political trouble than we thought.

The MSNBC chatfest is generally sympathetic to the administration. And Joe Scarborough, a former Republican congressman, has been training most of his fire on members of his party who led the ill-fated government shutdown.

But with the feds back in business, and the media spotlight predictably back on the bungled health care effort, the punditocracy has really turned on the rollout that President Obama felt compelled to defend at a White House event yesterday.

Mark Halperin, the “Game Change” coauthor and a regular on Joe’s show, called the rollout “unacceptable” and added that “the secrecy is unacceptable,” accusing the administration of withholding information about how many people have signed up.

His fellow panelist, liberal commentator Mike Barnicle, ratcheted up from there: “They’re lying about it now,” he said. “They’re not depriving us of information, they are outright lying.” The former Boston Globe columnist called the administration’s conduct “unacceptable.” "...

Funny, the only folks I've heard "turn on" Obamacare are the carefully rehearsed GOTP folks who have made sure they all use the same phrases and the same words...(focus-group tested, no doubt). Up until October 1st, Obamacare was going to KILL women, children, seniors; cause bubonic plague; kill granny; activate the death panels, and possibly cause rickets.

Now they're all complaining that people can't get on the website to buy it...

You can't make this sh*t up... lol

What do you suppose their outrage-of-the-day will be when the website is working and people are starting to realize they have coverage for their pre-existing conditions, that doesn't have a lifetime limit, can't be cancelled, and is AFFORDABLE? (Of course, that's what they're afraid of most of all...People will like it and it will work...)

I am impressed that the Denver Post today had a story about Cory Gardner investigating why Colorado's website only has 400 signups. Good to see them choosing the truth over partisanship. Reportedly the administration is asking the health insurance companies not give out the totals on signups because it shows ACA in a bad light. Most transparent administration ever?
