Election Day Predictions?

I think the Pot sin tax will pass, but this is a strange one. The scuttlebutt is if the new tax fails, and the state doesn't get a cut out of pot sales, they will do all they can to make it tough to buy recreational pot. So anti-pot Coloradoans might vote against the pot tax and stoners might vote for the high new tax rates.

Amendment 66? I haven't seen the polling but I think this measure is going to fail. People are still against new taxes. And I don't think the 66 people have done a good job supporting this measure. Gov. Hickenlooper supports the new tax but he has been very quiet about it.

Agreed, I too think 66 will fail and the pot tax will pass. Hoping tonight's FOECF gathering is a happy celebration too.

Anyone think the northern Colorado counties will secede? I think impassioned secessionists might be able to get this to stage one. Off, off, year elections have low turnout. VA. thinks only 30% will vote for governor.

66 will fail, pot tax will pass, FOECFD will gather not for a happy celebration but to figure out how they can win back the community (they will need to do that no matter what), northern CO counties will secede to send a message.

I am hoping Virginia's Cucinelli wins to send a big fat message and N.J. will overwhelming reelect Christie. No big surprise there.

Amendment 66 is currently failing in Jefferson Country by 2-to-1 (66% / 33%)

The statewide results are the same.... (39% of the precincts reporting...)

Ooops...You beat me to it!
