Here’s hoping that those yellow sticks of Fleischmann’s and Mother’s manage, somehow, to fend off the Food and Drug Administration.

Personally, I’ve long since switched to extra virgin olive oil on my bagels, and either Earth Balance buttery sticks or butter for baking. But as someone who grew up eating margarine, the notion that the federal government is preparing officially to ban it, as the FDA recently announced, strikes me both as truly bizarre and emblematic of the arrogance of central planning that characterizes the Obama administration."...

... youre body can't process it, its not even food. Not suprised youre taking up the cause to let the food industry put poison in our food though...There are some things on this planet you should be seriously scared of. Why? Because they can kill you!

Things such as poisonous mushrooms, salmonella, staph infections and...hydrogenated oils. Yes, these oils that are widely used in the food industry are (or should be) held accountable for many diseases in today’s world.
Many studies and researches in the last decade have proven how damaging hydrogenated oils are for your health. Their negative impact on the human body is so severe that it can, in some cases, actually lead to death.

Margarine was always taboo in dairy country where I grew up anyway. Butter forever!

I think my mother had a natural aversion to made up foods as well- I think all the Margarine eaters will eventually get Cancer. It clogs your liver. We never had soft drinks, doritos, pringles or twinkees in the house, all our foods just had one ingrediant, meat, potato, vegetable......

Just because you guys are screaming from everyone corner, over other conversations, what the heck are you talking about?

It almost sounds like a private bet, but that could not be because it would be illegal?

Big Douche just craving attention he doesn't get at home... and he's a lying POS that won't honor his word.

Apparently big douche offered up a $1000 prize for the person who carved the best pumpkin, then reneged. Big surprise there lol

Who was to be the judge? Did Doug include provisions that he could opt out, was that right retained by default based on existing internet chatroom contract law?

So, not a bet, more of a request for work product with payment to at least one party, with all parties who carved being a party to the agreement.

Hmmm cool.

Any links to the original offer or the pumpkin photos?
