The Funniest Obama Quotes Ever!!

20 Nov 2013 19:38 - 21 Nov 2013 07:38 #1 by Rick

“Congress’ job is to pass legislation,” Obama explained. “The president can veto it or he can sign it. But what George Bush has been trying to do as part of his effort to accumulate more power in the presidency. … He’s been saying, well I can basically change what Congress passed by attaching a letter saying ‘I don’t agree with this part or I don’t agree with that part, I’m going to choose to interpret it this way or that way.’”

“That’s not part of his power, but this is part of the whole theory of George Bush that he can make laws as he goes along,” he went on to say. “I disagree with that. I taught the Constitution for 10 years. I believe in the Constitution and I will obey the Constitution of the United States. We’re not going to use signing statements as a way of doing an end-run around Congress.”

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

It is sad that there is no efficient process to stop these abuses. Supreme court cases take years to get going and money to support.

It would be nice to have a simple statement in front of all laws and regulations declaring which section of the Constitution applies. Most of these elected Smucks are lawyers right?

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

Funny or tragic? I'm not finding much humor in the entire mess. It's a sad statement on our nation when we not only elect a liar, we do it twice expecting a different outcome after watching the first four years of failure. Americans need to get smarter or we'll get stuck circling the drain along with all of the failures of Barry's first and second administrations.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

What is the definition of insanity?

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I got to see that speech last night. I wonder if Obama ever looks at himself in the mirror and realizes he has lost all his principles. All the idealistic platforms he campaigned on rusting away in the corner.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

You're absolutely right, it's not funny at all, it's actually kinda scary. But after I see these lies, ineptitude, and hypocrisy over and over, it's better for my health to just laugh.

Like whistling through the graveyard. Either we comfort ourselves with humor, or we face the reality of the situation. When there's nothing personally to be done, I'll choose humor.

I call it happiness. We have to have chaos before people will listen. So rather than be disgusted, sad, scared or anything else rejoice that finally there is enough chaos affecting enough people who will now scream and possibly make some real changes.

The scary part is watching the Dems try to pass as many laws between now and 2014 since they realize they are doomed.
