So far it only applies to nominations so now Obama can replace all the current idiots like Sebilius and Holder more easily.
And load up the courts with a bunch of left wing law school graduates since they are lifetime appointments.

Any gun ban would be unlikely since new gun legislation would still need to get through the House.
Of course the Dems will try even harder to take the House back now.

Okay maybe somebody can answer.. If the Dems are doimg this to "stack" the deck with their Judical Picks (which I've read) does this mean when the Repub's take back the House and Senate can they then Fire or force the resignations of these Judicial Picks?

Nope, they are lifetime appointments. But other vacancies do come up and if the republicans control the Senate and the White House, they will be able to get their nominations through without a fight. In the long run, both sides lose as this was a check to ensure the extreems are not put into lifetime positions.
