How Well are CA Exchanges Working Out?

Now we know why Team Obama is pushing amnesty. He needs Mexican doctors and nurses to provide healthcare at the new lower rates. I work in the dialysis industry. More and more rural clinics are being shut down due to the new lower payment structure. So now rural dialysis patients will have to travel further or move to the city or just decide to drown in their own toxins. #deathpanels

Go Obamacare!

In other states, Medicare pays doctors $76 for return-office visits. But in California, Medi-Cal's reimbursement is $24, according to Dr. Theodore M. Mazer, a San Diego ear, nose and throat doctor.

You're comparing apples and oranges...again. Medicare is the FEDERAL program for seniors 65 and over. Medi-Cal is California's equivalent to MedicAid... They aren't even the same program...

But, hey, never let FACTS get in the way of a good rightie copy-and-paste rant from the source-free, fact-free echo chamber.

It is apples-apples from the doctor's perspective, same service, same office visit, vastly different prices, which leads to cost shifting and/or declining some patients access. It takes a little reading and thinking to understand. Much simpler to just copy paste a worn-out snarky reply though.

Happy Festivus! :)

Happy Festivus? How appropriate! Is it time for the airing of grievances? Or is that every day here?

Your ignorance of FACTS is not my problem. Nice deflection, though.

[marquee:5jnwx6b2][/marquee:5jnwx6b2]And your ignorance of the actual topic is very telling...

Are you in the right thread? I know your economic literacy is below average but you should be able to understand that if someone is paying full price they are likely to get much better service than the people that you can only bill 30 cents on the dollar for. You might even refuse to see the discount customers.

And those are the FACTS of this thread LJ has no way to refute.
