So-o-o unless Christies does something VERY stupid, I believe he has the R's 2016 candidacy/win.....because he has DEMONSTRATED he can be bi-partisan and reach across the
isle....(which pissed the "radical right/righteous r's off)

Christie is too willing to ignore the 2nd Amendment for me to support him in the primaries. He might win in New Hampshire, but I think he doesn't have a chance in Iowa.

Why is demanding fiscal responsibllity radical? To me the can kickers are far more radical and dangerous to our country.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

It's not the " fiscal responsibility" that makes the radical right unappealing to many voters, it's their social agenda, and their scorched earth tactics to get their way.

But you're lumping anyone who agrees wiith the original tea party ideology into one basket. When it was started, it was focus primarily on fiscal responsibility and tax policy. The fact that some sector of supporters also focus on social policy doesn't mean the whole group does (I certainly don't)

Just like in the Democratic party you have radical socialists and communist sympathizers, eco-terrorsist, OWS thugs, etc... that shouldn't paint the entire party that way. There are radical edges in every group and there is no way to extract them from supporting said group.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Nice try Rick, but the tea party has supported the far right social agenda and those candidates that are the most rabid about abortion, contraception, gay rights.... Pretending that it is but a small percentage of the tea party does nothing to counter what the perception of the current tea party is.... Ultra conservative on everything, and that includes social issues.

Just because the press tagged the TEA Party as social conservatives doesn't make it so. Archer, you were manipulated and lapped it up. :droolpuddle:

It's not the media that has made the tea party ultra conservative, they did it to themselves. Were you not paying attention during the last election Fred? Did you not listen to the speeches by tea party candidates? Well I did, and those of you who still think that the Tea party is just about fiscal responsibility, it's time to take your head out of the sand.

Once again, you were manipulated. The media showed you the speeches of the social conservatives, or edited the speeches of the fiscal conservatives to present them in a bad light.
This is the same media that wasn't willing to tell you Obama was lying about getting to keep your doctor until after the election.
