I've never lumped you into "all liberals" ever. I'm well aware that there are liberals that are nothing like you.

Why make this personaL? My comment had nothing to do with what you have, or have not, posted about me....... I could post that the sky is blue on a sunny Colorado day and you would attack me for my post, I'm quite used to that. No my post was about your body of work here, unbiased it ain't.

My kettles are copper, what color are yours?

Seriously Walter, we probably agree on more than we disagree on, so why the hostility?

That part of the party recognizes that it takes compromise to govern our country. What the radical right has been pushing will not work, and it has led the party to a time of decision I sincerely hope the sensible part of the party prevails. RINO should refer to the Birch wing of the party.

RINO's named McCain and Romney lost against Obama so you can understand why some people in the GOP are wanting someone more pure than Christie.

Why? So they can lose by a bigger margin?

Or maybe more conservatives might vote? Many stayed home they saw Romney's record as a RINO in Massachusetts.

A far right wing presidential candidate will certainly bring the Democrats out in droves.

I'm afraid that magical thinking won't help the party. Absolutist positions are what have landed the far right in the current quagmire. It is not moving farther to the right which will restore two party governance - it is moving towards a more moderate, realistic ideology. Imagining an America dedicated to Ann Rand's philosophies is fun for the far right - but the majority of Americans aren't buying extremist positions of any shade. As Ryan so clearly pointed out, Republicans need to deal with the world as it really is, not as they wish it was.

That holds true for both parties. Dealing with reality is an idea lacking in our current political climate.

Like when the TEA Party took back Congress after Obama took the country too far to the Left with the passage of ACA? And that was back when people still believed they could keep their insurance if they liked it.
