Per the New York Post, fans of the movie Goodfellas remember the Lufttansa heist. In the movie, a group of mafia guys with inside help robbed millions in cash and jewelry from JFK terminal in New York. Then the thieves were eliminated one by one by their leader so he didn't have to pay them their share. And for years the Feds went along with this explanation, only arresting the inside guy. But now they are arresting four people connected to the crime, one who is 78 years old. lol (Cue "Layla" theme.)

I guess the statute of limitations hasn't run out yet (assuming there is one on a heist like this one). Seems odd to me that the Feds would prosecute a bunch of old men, they must still have assets that are worth the effort it takes to find these guys and bring them in.
As for the movie, it's up there with several of my favorites. I watch Goodfellas at least a couple of times a year.
