Effort To Repeal Colorado Gun Control Laws Fails

I went to buy a hammer. Some lady was boycotting Home Depot with a giant picture of her husband's black and blue thumbnail and it said "A Framing Hammer took away his ability to work, now we're unemployed. Ban the Framing Hammer". Some guy was in there stocking up on framing hammers so he'd have 'em for the zombie apocalypse before the liberals start requiring Framing Hammer registrations.

Apparently tack hammers are still ok, but they want to require handles that will only hit 8 times before they break.

And in the national news...

Ninth Circuit: The Second Amendment guarantees the right to carry a gun in public

It’s the Ninth Circuit, which has jurisdiction over the west coast and typically leans left thanks to liberal all-stars like Stephen Reinhardt. (He wasn’t part of the panel that heard this one, thankfully.) With today’s ruling, the Ninth joins the Seventh in holding that the Second Amendment, just as it says, includes a right to “bear” arms. States can regulate that right but they can’t ban it altogether.

The NINTH? You mean the far-left-leaning-San-Francisco-teat-sucking NINTH? The panty-waist gun bullies are losing...You're running out of appeal courts.... Jus' keep doin' what yer doin'.... PLEASE!!!

Waiting for Armageddon since 33 AD

Anthony Kennedy Denies NRA's Request To Block Gun Magazine Law

WASHINGTON (AP) — Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy has denied an emergency request by the National Rifle Association to block enforcement of a California city ordinance that bans gun magazines capable of holding more than 10 bullets.

A court spokesman says Kennedy denied the request without comment.

The ban in Sunnyvale went into effect last week after 66 percent of voters approved it in November. The NRA challenged the law, but a federal judge ruled that it does not violate the Second Amendment right to own guns for self-defense.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco denied the NRA's request for an emergency order to stop the ban from taking effect while it considers the appeal.

Welllll, it looks like the SCOTUS is NOT going to interfere with laws limiting the capacity of magazines... I'm glad we got THAT out of the way....

Miss Sunshine nitwit, read the last sentence you just posted, the part about "denied the NRA's request for an emergency order to stop the ban from taking effect while it considers the appeal." This just means it must go through the appeal process. But thanks for playing with your limited comprehension abilities.
