It didn't take long

Ok, lets have it. I can't wait to hear the justification for people being able to buy weed with our tax money.

Don't let a couple bad seeds ruin welfare for people who really need it. And studies show that welfare recipients almost never fail drug tests.

It is against Colorado and federal law for welfare recipients to withdraw cash from a casino ATM and spend it gambling.

However, Colorado state lawmakers have not yet made it illegal for such a transaction to occur inside marijuana dispensaries.

Democratic lawmakers in Colorado killed a bill several weeks ago that would have prevented such withdrawals in both marijuana dispensaries and strip clubs.

The article didn't say why the Dems killed that bill. Maybe they were worried about possible job loss for pot dealers and strippers?

Dispensaries and liquor stores have some of the lowest ATM transaction fees anywhere. Most gas stations and convnience stores charge $3.00 or more per transaction. If I need cash, there is a liquor store close by that has a very low ATM fee. I get cash there sometimes without buying any liquor.

Just saying. And I am not entirely opposed to having wefare and aid recipients drug tested.
