I'd be interested to know what percentage of the Cuban population would welcome the annexation of their island nation by the US of A. Too bad the Castro brothers and their continuing administrations restrict their populations ability to access the Internet and the western press, of course I don't expect anything less from Communists.
The bigger rub might come from the Russians, Venezuelans, and the Iranians because they would likely loose access to ports in Cuba; then again who knows what Barry would allow, maybe he'd rent out bases and ports because it's a diplomatic thing to do.
