Haha, great quote. Not sure how these ride sharing services should be regulated, it's not something that interests me. Like the modern version of hitch hiking. LOL

However this attitude of "the general Public is not smart enough to....." Irritates the Hell out of me.
Typically this attitude comes from Progressive types. /end Broad Brush. :)

A little off the topic but did anyone catch Brain Games?
They put a sign on the side walk (wide open area) and "the velevet rope" sign said Line Starts Here.

People lined up, not know why or for what.
Just stood there looking silly. Others walked by looking at them.

Obama voters for sure.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Humans are herd animals, they tend to go along with the herd until something jars them and makes the herd panic and scatter.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

How fortunate we all are that we have these intelligent, capable beings to do what's best for our stupid little selves. We're blessed.
