New 2014 Jeffco Citizen’s Guide provides facts for citizen action
The 2014 “Citizen’s Guide for Jefferson County,” which lists national, state, regional, county and municipal officials for county residents, is now widely available within the county. The directory, compiled by the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County, contains nonpartisan information related to voting, schools, courts, and all levels of government affecting county residents. Additionally, it directs citizens to other information sources as well as to specific agencies and officials. Free copies of the guide are available at Jefferson County libraries, Jefferson County Clerk’s and city clerks’ offices and from the Jeffco LWV Office, 1425 Brentwood, Suite 7, Lakewood, CO 80214, 303-238-0032 or http://www.lwvjeffco.org . Guide information is current as of February 2014. Funding for the booklet came from the Jefferson County Election Division.
