:YeahThat: I'm glad to see something different here in the Courthouse. I'm glad you brought this up Heartless, I watched an hour long video on it. I wanted to post a link to the vid, but the guy was boring as hell and repeated himself a million times on points regarding other countries getting away from using the dollar as the supreme reserve currency. Couldn't subject people to that, it wouldn't get watched all the way through by most people. It was a challenge for myself, hahahaha. The points made however are more than compelling. The implications of losing the reserve currency status are more than bad, they're catastrophic. Oh well, by the looks of the hits on this thread, no one really cares. Let's be clear about something. Our country is able to live in a big party and spread money everywhere because of our "FREE MARKET SYSTEM." Those on here that like the idea of continuing to give people things for "free" (tax supported systems), which include everything from EMS to subsidized utilities for low income families should really EDUCATE themselves on the ramifications of bills like this to our economic systems. With the unintended consequences will shortly come quick devaluation of our currency and the domino effect that would follow. Anyway, thought I'd drive by real quick cause I like the intentions of this thread. Hope it gets more hits. Good night.
EDIT: Thought I'd point out that I put "free" in quotations for a reason which is why I put "tax supported systems" in brackets. Nothing's really "free" but with our complicated tax system needing reformed, it however is designed in such a way to support our bloated way of life at the same time. Kind of a damned if you do damned if you don't sitchiation here. "God Bless America." Yea.
