WAR ON THE POOR
Ryan Budget Slashes Food Stamps, Health Care For Poor, Assistance To Low-Income College Students, Federal Worker Pensions...

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan is rolling out an updated budget plan that would slash $5.1 trillion in federal spending over the coming decade. The Republican proposal also would balance the government's books by cutting food stamps, health care for the poor and working class, and programs like Pell Grants for low-income college students and pensions for federal workers.

Ryan's plan steers away from cuts to benefits for senior citizens, at least in the short term, but reprises a voucher-like Medicare program for future retirees that provides the basis for GOP claims that the measure would drive down government debt over the long term.

Oh PLEASE.... PLEASE keep this going...right on into the 2014 and 2016 elections. You can't possibly know how much I want this Randroid to just keep doin' what he's doin'. The ever-diminishing number of old, angry white-guys will eat it up; and all of the other constituencies that the TeaPublicans never win, and CAN'T win, will tune out the clown car.

I'm sure the more moderate republicans wish it was only an April Fool's joke, this could lose many elections for the Republicans.

What LJ always neglects in the bait stories she posts? This is the start of a negotiation. So Rep. Ryan will get some things and not get others. His last bipartisan budget was written with Democrat input and passed. Obama even signed off on it. So it there was anything in the bill LJ and Archer didn't like, President Obama signed it into law.

Since LJ has been on ignore for a year or two now I have no idea what vile nonsense she spewed out this time, but....

Let's remember one FACT! Poverty in the U.S. has increased under the Obama Administration. So, who has really waged war on the poor?

Why don't we address what IS, instead of what might be, perhaps, we think, could happen?

Yes, the Randroid-Republicans continue to win more Governor's offices, seat more representatives in the House of Representatives, and are predicted to take more Senate seats.
What are the Dems doing wrong that people won't elect them at the state level?
Are Americans tired of their empty promises and lies? Like Obama, Pelosi and Reid's deceit about ACA?
