New Colorado Gun Laws Go Before Federal Court this Week

They think the case should take about two weeks and I think the new laws will be upheld.
Brightside? The state sheriffs continue to refuse to enforce them. And the legislators who passed them? Some are up for re-election in November.

It'll be interesting to hear the ruling. Like you, I'm not confident that they'll be overturned, particularly in what I see as a prevailing atmosphere of repression and constitutional nullification. The bright side is indeed that our sheriffs choose to obey their oaths of office and the mid-terms are coming up.

And hey, it could be worse. At least we're not in Connecticut or New York - yet! :smackshead:

Now a wait til December to be heard on the 2nd Amendment issue.

A mere formality on the way to SCOTUS? Will anyone in the 'wild west' comply?

I see no need to "comply" with unconstitutional diktats. This argument was settled 12/15/1791.
