House Republican apologizes for extramarital encounter

Rep. Vance McAllister (R-La.) is facing trouble after a local newspaper reported he can be seen kissing a female staffer in a surveillance video. The married House Republican, who ran on a devout Christian conservative platform, apologized Monday after the video surfaced that reportedly shows him kissing an aide.

McAllister made headlines in January for inviting "Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson as his guest to President Barack Obama's 2014 State of the Union address.

He is fairly new to politics, having assumed office in November 2013 after an upset win in a runoff race against Republican Neil Riser to succeed former GOP Rep. Rodney Alexander. McAllister's win came after he touted his conservative values and 16-year-marriage.

Well, I can see where he would not want to "one-up" David Vitter, but I just love it when a "devout Christian Conservative" that runs on his teabagger "Family Values" and "16-year marriage", and who invites folks like the Duck Dynasty to the State of the Union, gets busted for stuff "outside his marriage."

Of course, like all good "devout Christian Conservatives", one simply announces that they have "fallen short" and ask [god's] forgiveness... There--Problem solved. (Otherwise known as the "Jimmy Swaggert method.") I understand it also works for getting caught with large quantities of cocaine.

You may return now to your regularly scheduled chortling over the California Assembly's problems.... :pop

Wow! Really? First Bubba said this:

Then he said this:

Classic "they did it too moment" but minus the proof of coitus out of wedlock; I observed a Republican kissing one of his close personal friends so he must be living a secret second life that includes explicit sexual activities.

Really LJ, you're fishing at best, come back with proof. I'll wait... :rofllol

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Just love it when those die hard liberal democratic idiots are two faced, doing that I am better than you stuff

The idiot rangel from New York, prime example

Blames not paying his rent on is office in the Bronx on the sequester. Tax payers left paying the bill. But I quess when you don't pay your taxes (Ethics committee found him guilty of 11 violations, which he should have been removed from office) oh sorry that only applies if they are republicans,

They are all a bunch of crooks, not just the tea partiers.

Let's compare, a kiss to a blow job in the Oval Office.
And the kisser regretted/apoligized for his actions wheras Bill Clinton tried to redefine sex when he was caught via sperm sample.

And if you want something more timely, how about the Dem mayor of San Diego, serial groper?
At least other Dems tried to force him out despite the sexual predator himself thinking he did nothing wrong.

LJ,
You really shouldn't call out someone for a kiss when your buddies have done much, much worse.
It is like calling attention to a jaywalker to distract from a murder.

Gee, Fred, you really shouldn't comment when you have nothing to add but the mindless usual:

"They did it too" / "It's not as bad as ____"

A kiss vs gunrunning and murder-for-hire plots?

Funny how a kissing scandal is on the main page at CNN and Leland Lee's bribery, gunrunning, etc. scandal is nowhere to be found.

There is NO MEDIA BIAS !
