ACA even bigger success

According to the nonpartisan, nonprofit RAND thinktank, millions more individuals were able to get insurance than previously announced.
http://www.rand.org/content/dam/rand/pu ... _RR656.pdf

While about 1 million individuals have chosen to drop their individual health insurance plan, millions more who were previously uninsured are now insured. While about 7 million individuals were able to get insurance through the ACA marketplace (3.9 million) and Medicaid (5.9 million), even more were able to get insured through their employers (8.2) than previous.

According to the RAND study, 9.2 million more individuals are insured than were insured in March 2013 dropping the number of uninsured by 25%.

So despite the desperate attempts by the Koch Bros. and their GOP tools, the ACA is becoming a success. Once the American public see past the lies and distortions of the false anti-Obamacare ads and recognize the true benefits of the ACA, it will be considered a true success. Not only are more and more able to get affordable insurance that have real benefits, the cost of medical expenses since the ACA has come into effect is rising at the lowest level in decades.

Even the GOP are caving in, admitting that they have nothing, that the only thing that they can come up with to replace ObamaCares is, well, ObamaCares. The American public simply won't go back to the days when those with preexisting conditions could not find affordable insurance options, when those who had reached an arbitrary dollar limit could not pay for further health care, when insurance companies could ratchet up double digit premium rates to pay for exorbitant salaries and dividends.

So now comes the haters, spinning their distortions and hate with no documentable facts to back them up to declare their hatred of all things Obama.

If it is such a success, why are the mandates being kicked further out rather than brought in sooner?
And it isn't the Republicans who are delaying ACA, it is the President and his team.

Apples and oranges.

The mandates are being delayed due to necessary tweaks to allow a smoother implementation for businesses. The President and Democrats have not delayed ACA, it is already in effect. Unfortunately, Congress has abdicated on tweaking the legislation to improve it's implementation, as the WSJ pointed out in their editorial today.

I truly hope that the numbers come in high enough to stabilize the individual insurance market and keep it going. I say welcome to the party to all the uninsured new comers paying into the "system". Enjoy.

As far as value for anyone paying full price, I'm not seeing it. The rates are high for anyone not receiving free medicaid or big ACA subsidies. But whatever, as long as the market stays viable I'll tolerate it for now, and research how to take it easy, retire and tweak my "MAGI" for maximum subsidies. :)

As for "So now comes the haters, spinning their distortions and hate with no documentable facts to back them up to declare their hatred of all things Obama."
Just a typical SDS fishing post trying to get a response. Here ya go . :rofllol Have a nice day! HATER!

Well when you can come up with real numbers not those that a idiot survey group does then you can say how good or bad it is.

Show the real numbers. How many actually had insurance, lost theirs and signed up for aca

Show how many have actually paid their premiums and actually have insurance

You can't because they wont because it would show the real truth.

You do not have facts, you have hear say nothing else.

So you write this and you have no documentable facts to back up your statements either. You have a survey and you think that is fact, that is like reading the huff and puff news.

Non-partisan, non-profit "Rand" institute. Think they should have changed their name?
Rand doesn't usually mean non-partisan, Ayn Rand, Rand Paul.

Don't know you but wow! Now let me do a general lump everything together. I don't think any of the news media outlets provide any factual data including the OP's (does that refer to Original Poster I wonder), any way the first poster's post.
