So does this mean that Brandeis University supports these things or are they just racist.

"Ayaan Hirsi Ali has just released this statement in response to Brandeis University's decision to rescind her invitation to receive an honorary degree:

"Ayaan Hirsi Ali
Yesterday Brandeis University decided to withdraw an honorary degree they were to confer upon me next month during their Commencement exercises. I wish to dissociate myself from the university’s statement, which implies that I was in any way consulted about this decision. On the contrary, I was completely shocked "...

One of my friend's daughters was accepted to Brandeis with a good scholarship but after this cowardice she will go to a college that does allow free speech.

Good for her. I wonder what the flavor of the "pubs are worse" will be on this one. Should I hold my breath? :Speechless: Nah, better not.

If the University rescinded the honorary degree because of her public stance on this issue they were wrong, pure and simple. Seriously, what were you expecting from liberals? That we would support the University if indeed that is what they did. I couldn't find any statement from the University on why they rescinded the honorary degree, but yeah, it is suspicious. Ms. Ali is amazing, she is fighting a battle that needs to be fought but it's hard to change long entrenched religious practices. We learn that every day from the religious right here in America.
( I didn't want to disappoint you Bob)

If you get a chance to check out this woman's history do, it is amazing what she has gone through to expose Islam's war on women. Pretty much put her life on the line, the director who made a film about her was killed by extremists.
