bullsh**!!!!!!! Have you even been to a Tea Party event? You trust slanted blotters talking points because you have a closed mind. I was at the GOP Colorado Convention Center yesterday and one of the most popular speakers was the African American founder of the Black Colorado GOP party. Sure there may be a few racists but you will find racists in the Democrat Party too.

I would go to a teabagger event, but I fear the gasoline and grass stains on my white robes just won't come out.

I did read. I found absolutely no statement re Holder claiming that race had anything to do with the attacks by Gohmert and Issa. The conservatives simply have to resort to race baiting since they have no facts.

Seems to be the latest conservative talking points, accusing Holder and Obama of playing the race card even though there is absolutely no evidence of anyone other than the conservatives playing the race card.

Hume has absolutely no facts to back up his claims, only white conservatives race baiting.

I have no doubt that there are a few Republicans who are not racist. As to the Tea Party, that is turning to be a really weak brew.

So here are the actual remarks that AG Holder made that somehow conservatives have twisted into race baiting:

“I'm pleased to note that the last five years have been defined by significant strides and by lasting reforms even in the face, even in the face of unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly and divisive adversity," he said, according to video recorded by Mediaite.

"And if you don’t believe that, you look at the way -- and forget about me, forget about me -- you look at the way the attorney general of the United States was treated yesterday by a House committee," he continued. "That had nothing to do with me. Forget that. What attorney general has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment? What president has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment?”

Looks to me as though he was referring to the hyperpartisan attacks made by Gohmert and Issa. Not a single reference to race in any way shape or form. But conservatives have to "imply" that race must be the source of his frustration. Yeah, right.

Dog offtopic but there is going to be a measure on the ballot that would ban fracking statewide. And you claimed no one wanted to do that.

Nope. No Democrats are playing the race card..........

Israel made his comments after Attorney General Eric Holder testified Tuesday before the House Judiciary Committee, then suggested the next day at a forum on civil rights that the past five years in Washington have been marked by "unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly and divisive adversity."

New York Rep. Steve Israel said Sunday a significant part of the Republican Party is “animated by racism,” marking the third time in recent days that a leading Democrat has appeared to make race an issue and drawn a sharp response from Republicans.

There is no excuse for bigotry - no matter where it tries to hide. Face up to it and oppose it. When you try to dress it up you denigrate your cause.
