GoTP Establishment Freaks Out at Rand Paul

Rand Paul's noninterventionist foreign policy views aren't currying him any favor with conservative pundits, who have recently attacked the Kentucky senator and possible 2016 presidential candidate as naive and immature.

Earlier this month, Mother Jones surfaced a 2009 video of the Republican speaking to a student group at Western Kentucky University prior to announcing his Senate candidacy. In his remarks, Paul alleged that former Vice President Dick Cheney had his own financial gain in mind when he pushed for the Iraq War after 9/11.

"Dick Cheney then goes to work for Halliburton. Makes hundreds of millions of dollars -- their CEO. Next thing you know, he's back in government, it's a good idea to go into Iraq," Paul said.

The charge isn't sitting well with some conservatives.

Welllllll, I'll bet not....

Poor GOTP... Just can't find enough ideological purity to put forth a candidate...Paul is crazy, and his Libertarian views will sink him. Jeb Bush just destroyed himself on two fronts: Immigration Reform, and he supports the "Common Core" program...(Others would support it too, except Obama has said he likes it--So, that's enough to be the kiss-of-death); Christie is toast...He'll be lucky if he's not indicted by November. That's kind of narrowing the choices down to Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Marco Rubio? (Oh, please, if there is a god, ANY ONE of those four should win the national primary!!!!)

I don't think re-evaluating all our overseas commitments is a bad thing and it wouldn't be a bad thing to mothball a couple carrier groups or stop building the F-35.

The Dems are facing a similar divide, do they continue with the Clinton-Obama sucking on the corporate tit model and bending over for Wall Street or do they return to their blue collar roots?

Too funny, even when I agree with her, she will still insult me.
