The USA business that needs to be taxed

What would be wrong with a 50% tax on all campaign contributions? The Tax IMO should go directly towards the USA dept. How could citizens impose a tax on this American business that is flourishing under the tax radar that politicians rule over?

Ask Harry Reid, who is slyly trying to pay back some contributions he said were just gifts.

No, I think I'll ask Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and all the other teabagger wackos that are getting dark-money contributions from Sheldon, the Koch Brothers, Crossroads GPS, and all of the other surreptitious slush-funds and sources...

With the attention Michelle Obama has received for her various trips – and they no doubt have cost taxpayers some significant chunks of change – you might be surprised at the results of National Taxpayers Union Foundation’s (NTUF’s) peek into our two most recent First Ladies’ international travelling habits.

Michelle Obama has already travelled 72 days abroad up to this point. Certainly not an insignificant total, and her first term tally of 55 days abroad is more than President Reagan spent abroad in his first term.

Yet, Michelle’s two-term travel record will almost assuredly fail to keep pace with Laura Bush’s record-setting feat.

The former First Lady racked up a two-term total of 212 days abroad. Her second term included 135 days of international travel, which is more time than her husband, George W. Bush, spent abroad during the same time period!

In fact, if you compare Laura Bush to the Presidents, she is currently the third most internationally traveled of that group, behind Bill Clinton and her husband – though President Obama will likely push her back to fourth in a few years.

The idea is equality for all people that seek and obtain campaign money. It wouldn't matter if the money was meant to be spent in the support of the DNC, RNC or the DMF'ers, 50% of it would go to support the USA.
Why would I ask anyone that is in this tax free business for advice on how to impose a tax on their money maker?

Freeze, you are an idealist! The ones abusing the system make the rules. No way they will decrease their donations. Plus ad time bought by campaigns? It has to be purchased at the lowest rates allowed.
So not only do politicians spam your TV and internet, they get to do it at a discount.
Next goal? Let donations to political campaigns be tax deductible!
