(Or, gee Fred, perhaps you could explain to us how a photo-ID could be used to stop it...?)
A majority of Americans want photo ID's in elections. It is only you far Left loons who think honest elections are a bad thing. And why are you so scared? You said the GOP was dead and running out of old white guy voters. And the source you requested was earlier in this thread. Over 100 bad votes discovered so far.

A majority of Americans wanted slavery too...And a majority of Americans USED to oppose marriage-equality too...(which now enjoys a 58% approval rating).
A majority of teabaggers want photo-ID...That does NOT constitute a "majority of Americans". I'm not scared of anything except the obsession of the teabagger party to suppress voting by any means possible.
Is that your deflection-of-the-day? I'm still waiting for PROOF that anyone from those two states has attempted to vote in both states... A photo-ID wouldn't stop it if they did....

I'm still waiting. I'll be right here. C'mon, Fred. Turn on that laserlike focus and tell us how a photo-ID would stop the scenario you posited....
Photo ID won't help in determining if a person is a legal voter in an election?
You really think that? You have gone so far left you have lost all logic.
A government issue photo ID shows where you live, I know you didn't know that but election judges find it handy when seeing which district or state you are registered to vote in.

No, you've forgotten the question...It's okay...I understand.
I was registered in Colorado and Washington State at one time. I was in the military and stationed in Washington State, but I wanted to vote in Colorado and according to the rules, was allowed to register in my "home state" or "home of record" which was Colorado. My driver's license from Colorado had expired and in order to renew it I was supposed to come back to Colorado, which at the time couldn't happen, so I opted to get a license in the state I was residing, which was Washington. Washington State has an automatic voter's registration when you get a driver's license, so I could have voted in both states.
In LJ's mind requiring people to buy health insurance is not considered an assault on your civil liberties but carrying a voter ID to the voting booth is a slap in the face, even though most of the world requires photo ID to vote, even poorer countries like Mexico.
Face it, on this one you are on the wrong side. The majority of Americans want it. Your own NY Times admitted it affects less than 1% of voters. The people who have lives that don't require photo ID don't normally vote.
