The weather is taking the blame for revised negative numbers for last quarter. They do think it will bounce back this quarter as the weather warms up. Retail took an especially big hit.
Do you think it was mainly weather and will rebound? Or do you expect the economy to be slow this year?
The only positive trend I am seeing right now is how fast homes are selling right now and how it is a real sellers market.

There's always an excuse with this administration, this time it's the weather. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with unemployment, less people actively seeking employment, and people not having as much money to spend because they are having to work part time jobs and pay more for services like healthcare.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Sad thing? The economy contracted despite consumer spending rising. Europe's growth has been very slow too. Another recession looming? Or is stagflation coming back?

Definitively Bush's fault. Makeano mistake about it. And as soon as Obama sees it on the evening news, by golly he will draw a red line in the sand, and get really mad, and do something about it.
No worries. EVERYBODY JUST CALM DOWN! LOL

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
The economy will be "side ways" for a VERY long time....it's artificially propped up and the stats
reflect that factor....weak,but ATTEMPTING to right it's self...it's the NEW norm...pull up a comfy
chair and have some coffee because it's NOT going to race back into the roaring 90's....JMO
