Las Vegas Shooters Boasted About Protesting At Cliven Bundy's Ranch
The man and woman allegedly behind Sunday's shooting rampage in Las Vegas boasted about the time they spent at Cliven Bundy's ranch, the Las Vegas Sun reports.
The suspects, a married couple who allegedly shot and killed two police officers and a third individual before killing themselves, reportedly espoused anti-government and white supremacist views. According to neighbors at their apartment complex, the shooters claimed to have an extensive gun collection, and talked about the time they spent at Bundy's Nevada ranch during an April standoff with the Bureau of Land Management.
The Las Vegas Sun reports:
Residents who spoke about the assailants all mentioned the couple's relationship with Bundy.
Oak Tree resident Sue Hale said the two told her they were in Bunkerville during the standoff, which occurred in April after federal authorities began conducting a roundup of Bundy’s cattle. Bundy had defied the government by grazing the cattle on public land without a permit.
"Yap, yap, yap. They were always running their mouths," Hale said.
Police sources told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the shooters shouted "this is the start of a revolution" before killing the officers. After killing the officers, the couple covered the bodies with a cloth displaying the Gadsen, or "Don't Tread On Me" flag -- a Revolutionary War-era symbol that has since been adopted by the tea party. Investigators also found swastikas at the suspects' apartment.

Las Vegas Shooters Told Neighbors They Were Kicked Off Bundy Ranch
As the details come out about the Las Vegas shooting, one thing becomes clear. Once again, we can credit Fox News for their role in spreading political hate and violence across the land. The conservative sites (Fox News, Washington Times) this morning are describing the shooters as meth tweakers who were into conspiracy theories, but why are they being so modest? They should take the credit for their fine work!
After all, who did such a stellar job turning a deadbeat rancher into an oppressed hero? Who turned the Bundy ranch into a magnet for right-wing whack jobs looking for a focus? Who spreads lies and anti-government propaganda 24/7? Why yes, that would be those nice folks over at Fox News:
Residents at an apartment complex where it appeared the two lived together said they had a reputation for spouting racist, anti-government views, bragging about their gun collection and boasting that they’d spent time at Cliven Bundy’s ranch during a recent standoff there between armed militia members and federal government agents.
The duo also told people they planned to commit a mass shooting, said Brandon Moore, a resident of the complex.
"They were handing out white-power propaganda and were talking about doing the next Columbine," Moore said.
Cliven Bundy's son: Vegas shooters Jerad and Amanda Miller were kicked off our ranch
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The married couple who police say killed three people in Las Vegas, including two officers, had been kicked off a ranch where anti-government protesters faced down federal agents earlier this year, rancher Cliven Bundy's son said Monday.
Ammon Bundy told The Associated Press that Jerad and Amanda Miller were asked to leave his father's ranch after being there for a few days this spring.
He said that while details were still sketchy, the Millers' conduct was the problem. He called the couple "very radical" and said they did not "align themselves" with the protest's main issues.
"Not very many people were asked to leave," he said. "I think they may have been the only ones."
Jerad and Amanda Miller had been kicked off a Nevada ranch where anti-government protesters faced down federal agents earlier this year because they were “very radical,” according to the son of rancher Cliven Bundy.
Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill said the Millers had ideology shared by “militia and white supremacists,” including the belief that law enforcement was the “oppressor.”
