Mayor Hancock & Denver Join Boulder's Same Sex Marriage Licenses

Looks like Denver will join Boulder in issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples. It would be nice to see the Colorado amendment overturned this year but I think the courts will have final say.

Think the people getting licenses now have to do it all over again when the Supremes decide on the Utah law?

What I find truly interesting is how quickly the leftists are willing to abandon the rule of law when it suits their agenda. What the courts have ruled is that their ruling is stayed while it is appealed. The local court in Boulder has no authority to overturn a higher court's ruling in the manner it did. Just more evidence that the left truly believes that the ends justify any and all means necessary to achieve them instead of law and order.
